If you’re a fan of the dark theme on your Gmail or even Google Maps, then you’ll be excited to try out the dark theme on other Google products on both iOS 13 and Android 10. Google announced will be dishing out the dark mode across several of their popular apps over the next few weeks.

Aside from the sleek look dark mode gives your phone, it’s also a great way to conserve battery life, which lets be honest we have all been hanging on a thread at 1% battery life with no charger in sight. How to Turn on Gmail’s Dark Mode on iOS 13

Step 1. Go to your Gmail app and click on the menu on the top left corner.

Step 2. Go to the bottom of the list and tap on Settings.

Step 3. Tap on Theme

Step 4. Tap on Dark… Welcome to the Dark side.

How to Turn on Gmail’s Dark Mode on Android 10

Step 1. Go to your Gmail app and click on the menu on the top left corner.

Step 2. Tap on General Settings

Step 3. Tap on Theme

Step 4. Tap on Dark, and if you’ve already set up the dark theme as a default for your system then simply choose System Default.
